The Hot-air
Balloon Safari adventure begin just
before dawn. Flames from the
balloons burners lights the
darkness as the crew inflate their
crafts. As the first pink tongues of
sunlight flicker across the skies,
the inflated
balloons
begin to rise. Suspended in basket
beneath the rainbow colored canopy,
you are off for a game viewing
adventure with an entirely different
perspective.
You will be amazed by the silence as
you float over the plains, the
forest and the Mara
river. The sounds
below drift clearly upwards; a lion
roar, elephants crashing through
the bush, screeching baboons perched
in the tips of the trees startled to
see something above them. For an
hour or so you drift wherever the
air currents takes you, then in the
time- honored tradition of
ballooning ; the world over you
toast your return to the earth with
a champagne breakfast ,cooked before
your eyes on the burners that
minutes before, kept you suspended
in the air.
Pick up for this safari can be
done from any lodge/ Luxury camp in
Masai Mara. The price below does not
include transport to or from Masai
Mara game reserve.
You can also do the early morning Balloon
safari while in Amboseli, preferably on your last day
there. Just like doing balloon
safari in Masai Mara, this adventure makes you view
the plains of Amboseli from an
aerial view, you will get the
opportunity to see Mount Kilimanjaro
at a level that will make you marvel
at it forever. The Balloon safari in
Amboseli can also be done when you
