All of the Big Five - elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo and rhino - can be found here. A spectacular backdrop to the abundant wildlife is the snow covered dome of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak on the entire African continent.

When in the heat of the day the animals disappear, guests can swim in the Ngulia Safari lodge's pool or take a drive to the oasis of Mzima Springs. At the Mzima springs, a special viewing facility allows the observer to view hippo wallowing with surprising grace 'from below the water line.
